Last checked Sources

There are 26 Drill to Earth's Core classes in five price tiers, from the 100-Core Miner and Recruit to 8 Tier 5 classes at 30,000 Cores each. Every class starts a run with its own gear and a Level 1 perk, and three more perks unlock as you meet its requirements. Fandom's Classes page says the Level 4 perk is always a team bonus that helps everyone in the party.

For which ones are worth the Cores, see the class tier list; for where the Cores come from, see how to get Cores.

The Roblox badge list also has class badges for Mercenary (badge created 23 September 2026, 7,387 holders on 5 October 2026) and Engineer (badge created 1 October 2026, 189 holders on 5 October 2026). No source lists their price or perks yet, so they are not in the tables below.

Drill to Earth's Core Classes Costs by Tier

Buying every class costs 345,200 Cores (2 × 100 + 5 × 3,000 + 4 × 5,000 + 7 × 10,000 + 8 × 30,000). Fandom says Miner is one of two classes a new player can pick for free on the first join.

How the Class Shop Works

The class shop is a circle on the lobby floor: step inside and a menu opens where you swap to a class you own or buy a new one with Cores (Fandom's Lobby page). It does not sell every class at once. Sportskeeda, Deltia's Gaming and roonby all say it restocks every 12 hours; Deltia's Gaming says the stock is random, and roonby adds that Tier 4 and Tier 5 classes appear less often, so a class you want may take a few restocks to show up.

Once you own two or more classes, Fandom's Classes page says 2,500 Cores roll a random passive from another class you own onto the one you play. The code GAMENAME on the codes page gives 500 Cores toward your next class.

How Drill to Earth's Core Class Levels Work

Level 1 comes with the class. Levels 2 and 3 each ask for a task tied to the class's role, such as mining ore, healing, opening chests or beating bosses, and every Level 4 requirement a source lists is a total depth across all your runs. Those targets run from 500,000 m (Miner, Mechanic and Witch) to 30,000,000 m (Goblin King); one full run to the core is 100,000 m, so 500,000 m is 5 full runs and 30,000,000 m is 300.

Requirements changed in several balance patches, and Fandom's older class table predates some of them. Each class page names the source and date of every requirement it lists.

Prices are the five tier prices from Fandom's Classes page; 26 classes in all. The class shop only sells some classes at a time, so a class may take a few restocks to appear.
