The Level 4 perk works for the whole team, not only you.

How to Unlock Salvager
Classes are bought with Cores at the class shop in the lobby. Sportskeeda and Deltia's Gaming say the shop restocks every 12 hours and Deltia's Gaming says the stock is random, so Salvager may not be for sale when you look; roonby adds that Tier 4 and Tier 5 classes show up less often. Check back after the next restock.
