Fandom's Items page sorts Drill to Earth's Core items into twelve groups: scrap, fuel, ore, gems, utilities, tools, melee, weapons, armor, consumables, corpses and relics. You find them in dungeons and other structures, in chests and on enemies; a goblin, for example, can drop coal. Fuel, tools, weapons, armor and consumables are also sold at the rest stop shop, and Fandom says an item you bought there sells back for less.
Since 26 September every item has a rarity from Common to Mythic. Prices below are Fandom's coin values, and Fandom says every item sells for double while a Money Fog is active.
How to Sell Drill to Earth's Core Items
Loot goes to the trading post at each rest stop. Sportskeeda's beginner guide says to take the item out of your bag with F, then drag it to the sell station with the left mouse button; its value shows under its name once it is out of the bag. Fandom's Rest Stop page says Money Fogs and some classes raise what the trading post pays.
Four class perks are built on selling: Salvager sells scrap for 100% more at Level 3, Pirate sells golden items for 100% more at Level 2, Miner sells ores and bars for 100% more at Level 3, and Princess sells gems for 50% more at Level 3. The beginner guide covers the rest of the controls.
Ores and Gems
| Item | Price | After the Gem Refinery | Node HP (+ per layer) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coal | 25 | — | 15, +5 per layer |
| Iron Ore | 50 | — | 50, +4 per layer |
| Gold Ore | 100 | — | 100, +10 per layer |
| Diamond | 1,000 | 5,000 | 250, +25 per layer |
| Emerald | 2,000 | 10,000 | 500, +50 per layer |
| Ruby | 3,000 | 15,000 | 1,000, +100 per layer |
| Heartgem | 5,000 | 25,000 when Pristine | 5,000 |
Ores spawn beside the drill and in the Mineshaft, and gems come from breaking ore nodes. Fandom says the Gem Refinery in the Crafting Shack raises a diamond from 1,000 to 5,000 coins. For the Heartgem, Fandom's Layers page puts the refined price at 25,000, while the 29 August notes give 25,000 for a Pristine one; Prospector's Level 4 perk gives mined gems a 5% chance to be Pristine.
Iron and gold ore turn into bars at a Furnace Post, a structure Fandom gives a 10% chance to spawn. An iron bar sells for 150 coins and a gold bar for 300, after a 1 August cut from 250 and 500; allthings.how's 7 August guide still lists the gold bar at 500.
Fuel
| Item | Fuel | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Coal | 25 | 25 |
| Gas Can | 75 | 50 |
| Void Coal | 100 | 75 |
| Propane Tank | 200 | 125 |
Coal counts as both fuel and ore. The Clay Layer's boss wall drains the tank to zero, so carry a few pieces; the Mechanic class adds 50% to the fuel you put in.
Healing Items
| Item | Heals | Price | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bandage | 10% | 10 | Shop |
| Medkit | 30% | 100 | Shop |
| Advanced Medkit | 60% | 500 | Shop |
| Golden Medkit | 100% | 1,000 | Shop |
| Revive Kit | Revives at 100% | 1,250 | Shop, chests |
The 26 September update cut the Bandage from 15% to 10%, raised the Advanced Medkit from 45% to 60% and put the Golden Medkit back to 100%. Healer doubles healing and halves medical prices in the shop.
Pickaxes
| Pickaxe | Damage | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Wood Pickaxe | 5 | 10 coins + 5 fuel |
| Rusty Pickaxe | 10 | 25 |
| Steel Pickaxe | 15 | 50 |
| Golden Pickaxe | 25 | 150 |
| Diamond Pickaxe | Not listed | 500 |
| Void Pickaxe | Not listed | 1,250 |
| Phoenix Pickaxe | Not listed | 4,000 |
Every run starts with a Wood Pickaxe; the better ones come from the Mineshaft and the shop. A pickaxe is one of only two ways to hurt Stone enemies (explosives are the other), and the Mineshaft's rare ores need a strong one.
Weapons Among Drill to Earth's Core Items
| Weapon | Damage | Value | Where from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wood Sword | 20 | 10 coins + 5 fuel | Start of a run |
| Rusty Sword | 35 | 20 | Chests, Crazy Miners |
| Shotgun | Not listed | Not listed | Chests of every tier |
| Revolver | Not listed | Not listed | Chests of every tier |
| Void Revolver | 100 | 1,000 | Golden chests and better |
| Void Shotgun | 320 | 1,500 | Golden chests and better |
| RPG | 1,000 (2 rockets) | 500 | Golden chests and better |
| Dynamite | 500 after 3 s | 100 | Shops, the Mineshaft |
| Soul Lantern | 40 | 35 | Reaper class |
The Firepower, Sharpness and Blast Power cards on the upgrades page raise gun, melee and explosive damage for the whole team. The Vampire Key (250 coins), from vampires and the Vampire Mansion, is a tool rather than a weapon.

| Bounty Hunter's Duck | Unknown | 2,500 | Mythic |
Scrap is the loot that fills dungeon corridors and chests. The Bounty Hunter's Duck is the rarest item in the game, worth 2,500 coins: Fandom gives it a 0.1% chance in structures and 1% in chests. Fandom also notes that scrap's coin value matters less late in a run, when crafting with it is the better use.
Relics
The only relic is the Void Crystal, worth 5,000 coins, and you can equip it. It appears on the drill once, when you break the 100 km boss wall, and never again even if you go another 100 km.
