The Drill to Earth's Core Crafter class is a Tier 4 class for crafting. It costs 10,000 Cores in the lobby's class shop and starts every run with Crafter armor set, Resource Scanner, Wrench and Furnace. On the class tier list it sits in B tier, from the one list that ranks it (Sportskeeda).

The perks are paraphrased from allthings.how's class list (24 September). Requirements come only from a dated or named source, shown after each one; Fandom's older class table predates several balance patches, so check the class menu in the lobby before you grind.
The Level 4 perk works for the whole team, not only you.
How to Unlock Crafter
Classes are bought with Cores at the class shop in the lobby. Sportskeeda and Deltia's Gaming say the shop restocks every 12 hours and Deltia's Gaming says the stock is random, so Crafter may not be for sale when you look; roonby adds that Tier 4 and Tier 5 classes show up less often. Check back after the next restock.
Every Tier 4 class costs 10,000 Cores: Demolitionist, Princess, Reaper, Lucky Looter, Nightcrawler and Salvager cost the same. Cores come from chests, boss walls, badges and codes; how to get Cores lists every source, and the code GAMENAME on the codes page gives 500 Cores.
Once you own more than one class, Fandom's Classes page says 2,500 Cores roll a random passive from another class you own onto the one you play.
