The Drill to Earth's Core Mechanic class is a Tier 2 class for keeping the drill fuelled. It costs 3,000 Cores in the lobby's class shop and starts every run with Gas Can and Mechanic armor, adding Magnet at a higher level. On the class tier list it sits in D tier, from the one list that ranks it (Sportskeeda).

21,273 players held its Roblox class badge on 5 October 2026, the fourteenth-most of the 26 classes. Few players own it yet, partly because of its price. The classes hub compares all 26 side by side.

The perks are paraphrased from allthings.how's class list (24 September). Requirements come only from a dated or named source, shown after each one; Fandom's older class table predates several balance patches, so check the class menu in the lobby before you grind.

The Level 4 perk works for the whole team, not only you.

500,000 m is the depth of 5 full runs to the core at 100 km.

How to Unlock Mechanic

Classes are bought with Cores at the class shop in the lobby. Sportskeeda and Deltia's Gaming say the shop restocks every 12 hours and Deltia's Gaming says the stock is random, so Mechanic may not be for sale when you look. Check back after the next restock.

Every Tier 2 class costs 3,000 Cores: Scout, Healer, Racer and Witch cost the same. Cores come from chests, boss walls, badges and codes; how to get Cores lists every source, and the code GAMENAME on the codes page gives 500 Cores.

Once you own more than one class, Fandom's Classes page says 2,500 Cores roll a random passive from another class you own onto the one you play.

Fuel values for coal, gas cans, Void Coal and propane tanks are on the items page, and the Fuel Leech is the enemy that drains what you put in.

Mechanic Patch Changes and Source Notes

  • The 22 August update cut Mechanic's price from 5,000 to 3,000 Cores and gave Level 3 its fuel-on-kill perk. Fandom's older table still shows 5,000 Cores and a scrap-selling Level 3.
