Drill to Earth's Core Loot Goblin: A small, fast goblin that goes for your loot instead of you. It picks the most valuable item on the drill, grabs it and runs off, then comes back for the next one until it dies or the drill is empty.
From the Stone Layer down, wherever the drill stops near goblins. It first spawns in the Stone Layer (10 km down), per the layers page. Drill Defense and the Mounted Gunner are on the drill upgrades page.

How the Loot Goblin Attacks
- Steals items off the drill, best first.
- Only attacks players, for 3 damage, when there is nothing left to steal.
How to Beat the Drill to Earth's Core Loot Goblin
- Buy Drill Defense until its damage is above the Loot Goblin's health, so it dies when it touches the drill.
- The Mounted Gunner shoots it, though the gunner may pick another target first.
- Catch it on the way in: once it has an item it outruns most players.

Loot Goblin Value and Drops
20 coins or 5 fuel (Fandom says the price rose from 15 on 8 September). A Void Loot Goblin sells for 30.

Mutations change the price: a Golden enemy is worth three times the coins and most others 1.5 times (see mutations).
