How the Goblin Brute Attacks
- Slow melee swings for 8 damage a hit in Fandom's table (10 in the 29 August patch notes).
How to Beat the Drill to Earth's Core Goblin Brute
- Fandom calls it slow and a bit hard to kill: hit it, then step back before it swings.
- Bring a stronger weapon than the Wood Sword; the items page lists weapon damage.
These tips come from the Goblin Brute's Fandom page and the patch notes; none were tested in-game for this page.
Goblin Brute Value and Drops
40 coins or 10 fuel. Fandom's Goblin Brute page lists 60 coins for most mutations, 120 coins for a Golden one and 30 fuel for a Giant one.
Drops: Coal (Void Coal from a Void Brute).
Mutations change the price: a Golden enemy is worth three times the coins and most others 1.5 times (see mutations).
Goblin Brute Patch Changes and Source Notes
- The 29 August patch notes list 500 HP (was 300), 10 damage (was 8) and speed 15; Fandom's Enemies table still shows 300 HP and 8 damage, with speed 18 after the 5 September speed change.
- Fandom suggests selling Brutes early in a run, when 40 coins is about what cheap scrap pays, and burning them as fuel later.
